  • Khadas Redefines 'Mini' with New Products at Hong Kong Electronics Fairs

Between April 11 and 19, Khadas showcased new innovations including the Mind portable workstation, Tea magnetic headphone amp & DAC, VIM series open-source Single Board Computers, and the new Mind Graphics external graphics dock at the Hong Kong Global Sources Consumer Electronics Show and the Canton Fair. A Different "Mind"A Different "Mini" Since its 2023 launch, the Khadas Mind has gained acclaim for its compact size, modular expansion capabilities, and versatility. Highlighted as the standout product at the exhibition, it has won the 2024 iF Design Award and the German Red Dot Design Award. XDA Developer, a leading tech outlet, named it the top product of September 2023, praising it for redefining the mini PC category. The ingeniously designed Khadas Mind is remarkably compact, measuring just a quarter of an A4 paper's size and weighing only 450g, epitomizing minimalism and portability. Performance-wise, it supports up to a 13th generation Intel Core™ i7 1360P processor and 32GB of memory, effortlessly handling large software applications and multitasking, making it a powerhouse mobile workstation. The Khadas Mind also includes an SSD expansion slot for customizable storage upgrades. It features a 5.55 Wh standby battery that supports up to 25 hours of standby time, allowing users to move the device without shutting it down. When disconnected from power, the system automatically enters sleep mode and quickly wakes up once reconnected, facilitating seamless transitions across various use scenarios and external modules. The Khadas Mind features the Mind Link, a high-speed patented interface that allows seamless switching between various expansion modules within the Mind ecosystem. As an independent device, it already meets the demands of most office users. With additional expansion modules, Khadas Mind adapts to applications requiring enhanced functionality and GPU performance, demonstrating its versatility and adaptability. Mind Graphics At the exhibition, Khadas introduced their latest innovation, the Mind Graphics external graphics card dock, which attracted significant attention. Equipped with a desktop-class NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics card, Mind Graphics offers a substantial performance boost, adeptly handling GPU-intensive tasks such as AIGC, creative design, video rendering, and major gaming applications. The Mind Graphics dock stands out with its meticulous and compact design, occupying just 2.5 liters of desk space. Its sleek exterior and minimal wiring contribute to a clean and minimalist desktop setup. Featuring Khadas's self-developed Mind Link interface, it provides an ultra-high data transfer rate of 128 GT/s—four times that of Thunderbolt 4—offering not only ample bandwidth for the external graphics card but also enhanced expandability. Mind Graphics is well-equipped with multiple I/O interfaces, including USB-C, Thunderbolt 4/3, and USB4 ports, ensuring extensive expandability. It also supports 85W PD fast charging, eliminating the need for an additional power adapter and allowing connected laptops or other devices to recharge with just one data cable. With its powerful performance enhancements and comprehensive connectivity options, Khadas Mind effectively transforms into a robust mobile workstation. The Mind Graphics external graphics dock is currently available for pre-sale internationally, with a domestic pre-sale set to begin in June.
