Mind, through ingenious design, integrates the motherboard, CPU, memory, built-in standby battery, hard drive, and  heatsinkâ‘  into a unibody aluminum alloy case that's only a quarter the size of an A4 paper. It weighs only 450g, with dimensions of 146×105×20mm, and is only 1/48th the size of traditional PCs. It can be easily placed in a bag, allowing for unprecedented mobility and freedom.

High-Speed Connector

Khadas Mind's custom-designed Mind Link high-speed connector allows seamless switching between various Mind Ecosystem devices. When connected to Mind Dock, enjoy up to four simultaneous 4K displays and external speaker music playback. Connect to the Mind Graphics module for high-performance GPU and even more I/O options. Can Mind's built-in battery be used for normal usage conditions?

Yes but its not recommended, Mind's built-in battery can support normal usage conditions for a maximum of 20-minutes, after which Mind will either shut down on enter hibernation to preserve the Windows OS state. By default, when Mind is disconnected from a power source, it will immediately enter sleep/hibernation.

What do the different LED colors indicate?

White:

Flashing: Recharging, powered on
Solid: Fully-charged, powered on

Yellow:

Flashing: Recharging, in hibernation/shutdown mode

Cyan:

Flashing: Recharging, in sleep mode.
Solid: Fully-charged, in sleep mode.

Red:

Quick Flashing: No battery/faulty battery.

Off:

Hibernation/shutdown mode.

Can users add RAM by themselves?

No, the RAM is directly soldered onto the motherboard and isn't user replaceable.

Can users replace the SSD by themselves?

The internal SSD is not user-replaceable, and any tampering will void the product warranty. However, there is a user-accessible empty expansion slot, that you can reach by opening up the magnetically latched SSD cover located on Mind's bottom-side.

Does Mind support a discrete graphics card?

By default, Mind's Intel SoC integrates an Intel Iris Xe graphics processor. Users who wish to have a discrete graphics card can purchase the Mind Graphics module, this peripheral supports discrete graphics cards that can then be connected through Mind Link or USB-C 4.0.

Does Mind have Microsoft 365 preinstalled? Is it free to use?

Mind has Microsoft 365 pre-installed, however the software still requires users to login to their Microsoft account for activation.

Does Mind support other operating systems besides Windows?

​Yes, Mind supports Windows 10, Ubuntu and many other flavours of Linux/Unix, however some drivers may not be completely functional. Normal users are encouraged to use the pre-installed Windows 11 system.

Can Mind Dock be used by itself?

No, Mind Dock cannot be used alone, it is only a port expansion module. It requires a Khadas Mind to be slotted to it.

Do I need to buy an additional power adapter for Mind Dock?

Both the Mind and Mind Dock share the same power adapter. Just use the power adapter that came with your Khadas Mind, with your Mind Dock.
