3D Soundstage

Each instrument stands apart, positioned in space with clear direction and depth. Beyond a flat, left-right stereo spread, you are enveloped by three-dimensional sound.  

The XMOS XU316 chip delivers ultra-low latency, bit-perfect USB audio with low jitter and high bandwidth, while the ESS9039Q2M DAC refines the digital-to-analog path, achieving up to 121 dB dynamic range, which means you hear as quiet as a mosquito’s wingbeat and as loud as thunder. The Qualcomm QCC5181 chip removes the compressed, glitchy feel of wireless audio.  

A 100 fs femtosecond clock ensures precise timing, reducing jitter and eliminating note smearing, while pro-level distortion control sharpens spatial imaging and brings micro-dynamics to life. The digital-analog split‑board circuit ensures a pure ground for the analog stage, shielding it from digital interference and preserving natural timbre. 32 ultra-precise (±0.1%) resistors further enhance stability and accuracy, smoothing high frequencies and giving midrange instruments greater clarity. Four high-performance OPA1612 operational amplifiers from Texas Instruments, paired with 32 ultra-precise (±0.1%) resistors, further enhance stability and accuracy, smoothing high frequencies and giving midrange instruments greater clarity.

1. As of the launch of the first product in the Tea series, Tea was the first portable DAC/amp to magnetically attach to the iPhone using built-in            magnets.

2. “Older iPhones” refers to iPhone 11 and earlier models, which do not have a built-in MagSafe module.

3. UAC 2.0 connection supports up to PCM 768 kHz / 32-bit and DSD 512 (Native) playback.
