Khadas VIM4 Has Launched!

Updated: Jan 17, 2023

Dear Khadas Community,

Our latest VIM series single board computer, the VIM4, is launching today. This credit-card sized computer outperforms the competition with a super fast Amlogic A311D2 SoC, with x4 Cortex A73 2.2GHz high performance cores, and x4 Cortex A53 2.0GHz efficiency cores.

Powerful GPU

The GPU is no slouch either, with an ARM Mali-G52 MP8(8EE) clocked up to 800MHz. Experience the latest in connectivity with AP6275S Wi-Fi 6 Module (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, 2T2R MIMO with RS), and Bluetooth 5.1.

Developer Friendly

VIM4 also has several developer and manufacturer friendly features such as, a wide 9-20V VIN power input, dual camera support with two MIPI-CSI interfaces, accelerometer and gyroscope, MIPI-DSI and touch panel interface, and a V-by-One interface for machine vision applications.

OOWOW Embedded OS

End users, and other non-technical users will also be delighted to know that we have greatly simplified the OS installation and device maintainance process through the introduction of a lightweight system called OOWOW that has been embedded directly into the SPI Flash.

So What's the Price?

With all these never-before-seen breakthrough features, rolled into one tiny device, our team has been asked a million times, "What's the price of a VIM4, and when can I get one (or three)?", and this is it! There are two versions, and both will come with early bird pricing:

Option 1:

  • VIM4 + Cooling Kit: $239.9

  • Early Bird: $219.9

Option 2:

  • VIM4 Bareboard: $219.9

  • Early Bird: $199.9

Shipping Date: within 2-days after your order has been placed

Note: The current version of VIM4 does not include an NPU, future refresh version might include an NPU

Keep it cool,

Khadas Team

When is Android 64 bit available? Do you plan to release all instructions and drivers to allow the community to build new version e.g. with LineageOS?
