Overseas Online Advertising Strategist
(full-timer and freelancer)
Responsibilities
-
Responsible for creating, optimizing and managing paid search campaigns to exceed ROAS/revenue goals on Google ads, Microsoft Ads and/or Facebook ads

Develop a roadmap to execute the proposed strategy with clear milestones, identify constraints and pinpoint specific dependencies
-
Brainstorm and strategize how to use digital advertising platforms to promote Khadas and (new) products
-
Effectively advise on monthly campaign spend levels with the business budget and goals in mind
-
Ongoing maintenance, optimization and monitoring of bids, costs, budget caps, negative keyword strategies, ad creative and relevant KPIs
-
Writing and testing relevant ad copy, assisting with landing page optimization, maintaining e-commerce feeds and working with creative team on display/video formats
-
Responsible for paid advertising tactics, including Search ads, Shopping ads, Performance max ads and other areas

Spot opportunities for further growth
-
Actively look for new ways to increase paid search traffic.

Apply rigorous testing to continuously improve

Monitor and improve dashboarding/reporting
-
Monitor and improve tracking
-
This position reports to the Brand and Marketing Manager
Qualifications and experiences
-
Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
-
3+ years of experience in online ads (search, video, display, shopping, etc.)
-
High level of English, both written and verbal. Native English speaker preferred. Chinese would be a plus
-
Highly experienced in campaign development, execution and optimization best practices across various search engines
-
Strong knowledge of bid strategy management, oversight and troubleshooting
-
Demonstrable skills and strong knowledge of Google analytics, Google Search ads, Google Shopping, etc.

Experience with analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Tableau, Excel)
-
Exceptional knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics and cross-platform tracking
-
Experience with A/B testing
Nice to have

Extensive Google Analytics experience is required and experience in SEO, Social Advertising, Feed Management, Google Merchant Center

Experience with strategic SEA campaigns with large budgets
-
Proficiency in additional languages (e.g. Chinese, French, Spanish, German, Italian, etc.)

Agency experience

Knowledge of the North American and/or Western European market

Data analysis skills (advanced Excel, SQL and/or Python)

Search Ads 360 experience
