Overseas SEO Strategist and Copywriter

(full-timer and freelancer)

Responsibilities

  • Research, identify, and implement changes on key landing pages for organic ranking success

  • Define and develop competitive SEO strategies to meet business goals

  • Ensure that all parts of product development are fully optimized from a search perspective

  • Collaborate with colleagues for the creation of competitive content, based on search behaviour and search volume

  • Perform keyword/backlink gap analysis audits to discover any opportunities

  • Perform technical SEO audits and provide in-depth and actionable recommendations

  • Develop comprehensive off-page/backlink optimization strategies

  • Be the go-to person when it comes to SEO related questions on the product(s)

  • Monitor and analyse the relevant competitive landscape and market trends

  • Monitor and analyse search performance using analytics- and ranking tools

  • Provide reports and audits on the performance of the product(s), when necessary

  • Optimize on-site content & ensuring it is accessible to search engines

  • Maximize SEO performance for campaigns

  • Brief, structure and integrate SEO best practices on the blog

  • Write copies for social media and newsletter

  • This position reports to the Brand and Marketing Manager

 

Qualifications and experiences

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred

  • Proven track record of at least 3+ years working with SEO, achieving tangible results.

  • High level of English, both written and verbal. Native English speaker preferred. Chinese would be a plus

  • Excellent understanding of on-site, off-site and technical SEO. Understanding of ASO would be considered a plus

  • Affinity with technical products

  • Hands-on experience with a wide variety of SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, GTM, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.

  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript

 

Nice to have

  • Online advertising experience

  • Proficiency in additional languages (e.g. Chinese, French, Spanish, German, Italian, etc.)

  • Copywriting and blogging experience

  • Agency experience

  • Knowledge of the North American and/or Western European market

  • Data analysis skills (advanced Excel, SQL and/or Python)
