Edge2
The reason why we call Edge2 an ‘ARM PC’ and not a ‘single board computer’, is due to its desktop class performance. As you can see from our performance tests, the 8 nanometer RK3588S is 2.5 times faster than the 28 nanometer RK3399 used in Edge1.
Despite the tremendous performance increase, Edge2’s thermal output and energy consumption remain similar to Edge 1; requiring only the Khadas ‘3705 Cooling Fan’ and ‘Edge Heatsink’ for thermal dissipation, and the same ‘24W USB-C P.D. power adapter’ used by the Edge1.
These improvements to Edge2 culminate in a product that is not just a single board computer for hardware developers. The 8 nanometer architecture of the RK3588S and beautifully crafted polycarbonate enclosure brings it squarely into the purview of software developers.

Tone2
You may be deciding which DAC to purchase, the Tone2 Pro, Tone2 or the Tone1. The Tone1 will cease production in the coming months, so that leaves either Tone2 Pro or Tone2.
Tone2 Pro was designed for the high-end audiophile, it is a more expensive full-featured DAC which includes 3.5/4.4mm headphone jacks, a headphone amplifier, and MQA decoding. Whereas Tone2 was designed for Audiophiles and Makers who wish to integrate a powerful DAC into their products.
